Are the herbal incense beads natural?

Our herbal incense beads are made from ground natural botanical ingredients, without added artificial fragrance. Natural ingredients can still cause sensitivities, so please ask about any ingredient you need to avoid before ordering.

Why do your herbal incense beads have a more muted color palette?

We do not add dyes or pigments to our herbal incense beads. Their colors come from the botanical ingredients themselves. We also use nanmu wood powder as a natural binder; its own brown tones blend with those of the other ingredients, creating softer, earthier shades. Rather than adding color for a brighter finish, we let the materials determine each bead’s appearance. Slight differences in shade between batches are part of that natural variation.

How strong is the scent, and how long does it last?

For pieces containing herbal incense beads, expect a subtle botanical scent that is usually most noticeable close to the beads. It is not intended to fill a room like a diffuser. Scent varies with the blend, age, environment, and your own sense of smell, and gradually softens over time. We do not promise a fixed scent duration. Crystal-only pieces do not contain the scented herbal beads.

What should I check if I have sensitive skin or fragrance sensitivities?

Review the botanical ingredients, metal components, and other materials that will touch your skin. These vary by design, and natural materials are not automatically suitable for everyone.
